1. Rydzaa refers to the company and technology platform that connects customer (riders) with
independent Rydzaa Crews (drivers).
2. Rydzaa is a technology platform that connects customers and drivers. It does not provide
transportation services itself.
3. Rydzaa is not liable for indirect losses, delays, accidents, or damages arising during rides,
except where required by law.
4. Rydzaa does not guarantee availability of rides at all times and may suspend services due to
technical, operational, or external reasons.
5. Rydzaa does not guarantee the behaviour, actions, or conduct of drivers or passengers but may
take action based on reports and platform policies.
6. Users include both customers and Rydzaa Crews who register and use the Rydzaa app.
7. Service refers to ride-booking and transportation services offered through the app.
8. Users must be at least 18 years old to register and use the Service.
9. Users must provide accurate, up-to-date personal information and keep their profiles current.
10. GPS and location services must remain active during any booked ride.
11. Once a ride is confirmed, it constitutes a binding commitment. Cancellations without valid
reasons may incur penalties.
12. Applicable taxes, platform fees, surge pricing may be added to the fare.
13. Payment options include UPI, credit/debit cards and cash.
14. Refunds are issued only in cases of driver no-show or system error and processed within 5–7
business days.
15. Rydzaa operates solely as a technology aggregator. Rydzaa Crews are independent contractors,
not employees.
16. Rydzaa is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings left in a vehicle.
17. Rydzaa is not liable for delays, accidents, or events beyond its reasonable control.
18. Accounts may be suspended or terminated for policy violations, fraud, abusive behaviour, or
fake complaints.
19. Rydzaa Crews must comply with all local laws. Customers must not coerce Rydzaa Crew into
illegal driving practices.
20. Customers are expected to be ready for pickup within a reasonable time after the driver
arrives. Repeated delays or failure to show up may result in cancellation charges and, in some
cases, temporary or permanent suspension of the account.
21. Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to cancellation fees and reduced booking
priority.
22. Routes and stops must be pre-entered in the app. Unplanned changes may incur extra charges or
refusals.
23. The number of passengers must not exceed the legally permitted seating capacity: 1 for bike
rides, 3 for auto-rickshaws, and 4–6 for cars as applicable.
24. Eating, drinking, smoking, littering, or wilful damage inside the vehicle may incur cleaning
or repair charges.
25. All waiting time after trip start is chargeable per the selected vehicle’s waiting-charge
schedule.
26. One-way rides are point-to-point trips and end upon reaching the selected destination. Round
trips are valid for same-day return only. Any extension beyond the permitted duration may
attract additional charges as applicable. For package trips, the return date is fixed at the
time of booking and cannot be changed once the trip begins. Any additional usage, including
extra hours or distance beyond the booked package, will incur extra charges.
27. Promotional codes and discounts are subject to expiration dates and additional terms. Rydzaa
may modify or revoke promotions at any time.
28. Price estimates are indicative, final fares depend on actual distance travelled, time taken,
and dynamic pricing.
29. Users must not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the app’s
functionality.
30. Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their login credentials, any
unauthorized access is their liability.
31. A trip is considered completed only when the rider reaches the destination entered in the
app.
32. If accident happens the ride is not counted as completed.
33. Rydzaa may contact users for service updates, feedback, and important notifications related
to the service.
34. Rydzaa aim to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee it will always work
perfectly. If any issues occur, our responsibility is limited to what is required by law.
35. The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for
their content or services, and users access them at their own discretion.
36. These Terms may be updated at any time, continued use of the platform after changes
constitutes acceptance.
37. If there is any dispute or legal issue related to the app or service, it will be resolved
according to the laws of India.
38. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the place of the Company’s registered office in India.
39. In accordance with applicable GST laws, Rydzaa is responsible for collecting and remitting
GST on applicable ride and platform charges to the Government. The applicable GST (including
the 5% rate where applicable) is deposited by Rydzaa directly with the tax authorities.
40. Rydzaa provides a technology platform connecting riders and independent Rydzaa Crew (driver
partners) and does not operate transportation services directly.
41. Rydzaa shall not be liable for any delays, cancellations, or inability to provide services
due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather
conditions, government restrictions, emergencies, or other force majeure events. In such
situations, service availability may be affected for safety reasons.
42. Rydzaa facilitates connections between customers and drivers for transportation services. If
a ride is accepted and both parties agree to travel to a particular location, Rydzaa is not
responsible for conditions at the destination or during the journey arising from external
factors such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.
However, Rydzaa may take necessary safety actions, including ride suspension or alerts, where
required.
1. Rydzaa Crews must maintain a valid driving license, vehicle registration, insurance, and any
required permits.
2. Rydzaa Crews are independent contractors, they set their own hours, handle their own taxes,
fuel, and vehicle upkeep.
3. Rydzaa operates only as an online aggregator and does not own or operate vehicles.
4. Once a ride is accepted, the assigned Rydzaa Crew must complete it personally, ride transfers
to another person (another Rydzaa Crew) are prohibited.
5. Cancelling a ride after acceptance without a valid reason may lead to penalties. Repeated
cancellations may result in higher penalties or account restrictions.
6. Rydzaa Crews must keep the ‘Rydzaa Crew’ app and GPS active throughout each trip.
7. Unauthorized route deviations without customer or system approval are not allowed and may
incur fines.
8. Rydzaa Crew are expected to respond promptly to nearby ride requests. Repeatedly ignoring or
selectively accepting requests may affect future ride allocation or visibility on the platform.
9. Rydzaa Crews must arrive at pickup points punctually, unexcused lateness may lead to
penalties.
10. Rydzaa Crews must obey all local traffic laws, safety regulations, and maintain vehicle
cleanliness and hygiene.
11. Helmets (for bikes) and seatbelts (for cabs) are mandatory for both Rydzaa Crews and
passengers.
12. Driving under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicants results in immediate
platform removal and legal reporting.
13. The fare displayed in the app does not include toll charges. Any applicable toll fees
incurred during the trip must be paid separately by the customer directly to the Rydzaa Crew at
the time of the ride.
14. Parking fees, entry charges, and similar expenses are not included in the package fare and
must be paid separately by the customer directly to the Rydzaa Crew during the trip.
15. Fare calculations, commissions, and any applicable surge pricing will be outlined in the
monthly settlement statement. Such statements will be generated at the end of each calendar
month. Rydzaa Crews agree to these terms.
16. Rydzaa Crew earning over ₹500,000 in a financial year through Rydzaa may have TDS deducted
from future payouts per government regulations.
17. Rydzaa Crew must maintain a minimum wallet balance to accept and continue receiving trip
requests. If the balance falls below the required threshold, access to new trips may be
restricted until the wallet is recharged. The applicable minimum balance thresholds, based on
vehicle type and trip type, will be displayed within the app.
18. Fraudulent activity such as fake rides, duplicate accounts, fare manipulation, or demanding
extra cash may results in permanent account deactivation.
19. By onboarding, Rydzaa Crew confirm that they have a minimum of two years of driving
experience and agree to comply with platform safety and service standards, including
maintaining an acceptable performance and rating level. Rydzaa reserves the right to verify this
information at any time. If the experience or performance standards are not met, or if ratings
fall below the required level, the account may be temporarily placed on hold. In such cases,
Rydzaa may require the Crew to undergo training or assessment before reactivation of ride
access.
20. Rydzaa may suspend or restrict driver access in cases of safety violations, fraud,
misconduct, or repeated non-compliance.
21. During onboarding, Rydzaa may collect a one-time, non-refundable verification fee from
Rydzaa Crew. This fee covers the cost of document verification and police verification required
for onboarding and compliance purposes.
22. Rydzaa Crew agree that the platform may monitor trip details, GPS location during rides,
communication records, and ratings for safety, service quality, and dispute resolution
purposes.
23. Continued violation of platform rules and policies may result in warnings, penalties,
temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
24. If a trip is terminated due to accident/ vehicle breakdown/ law enforcement issues/
unforeseen circumstances, Rydzaa does not guarantee earning.
25. In the event of an accident during a trip, the Rydzaa crew is responsible for handling the
matter through their vehicle insurance and complying with all applicable legal and insurance
procedures. Rydzaa acts only as a technology platform.
26. Rydzaa Crews are responsible for operating their vehicle safely and maintaining all required
vehicle documents and road compliance as per applicable laws.
27. Rydzaa provides a 24x7 SOS emergency feature in the Rydzaa Crew app, available during
ongoing rides. When activated, the SOS button automatically connects to Rydzaa Crew to the
police helpline (100). If the crew has saved emergency contacts in app, our backend system will
also trigger SMS notifications to those contacts. All SOS events are logged, and our team
follows up as required. Rydzaa Crews may also reach us directly at crewsupport@rydzaa.com for
support and escalations. Rydzaa maintains record of trips, SOS events, and complaints
resolutions in compliance with the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (as amended) and the Aggregator
Guidelines, 2020.
28. By selecting “I Agree” during onboarding, Rydzaa Crew confirm that they have read and
understood all applicable terms, policies, and guidelines, and agree to comply with them.
29. Rydzaa may offer incentive programs or “missions” from time to time. Rydzaa Crew who
successfully complete the specified conditions of a mission may be eligible to receive the
associated incentive, subject to verification and applicable terms.
1. Customers must create and maintain a valid Rydzaa account with accurate personal information.
2. Customers must be ready at pickup within 5 minutes of driver arrival, repeated no-shows may
lead to account suspension.
3. Frequent last-minute cancellations may result in applicable cancellation charges and may
affect booking priority on the platform.
4. For package trips, drivers may be assigned in advance of the scheduled booking time, which
may vary depending on availability. Customers may be required to pay an advance amount to
confirm scheduled bookings. If a booking is cancelled after a driver has been assigned, the
advance amount may be treated as a cancellation charge. Cancellations made before driver
assignment may be eligible for free cancellation.
5. Routes and stops must be pre-added in the app, unplanned stops or route changes may incur
extra charges or refusal.
6. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, being ready at pickup, and
behaving respectfully during rides.
7. Payment must match the app fare, for cash trips customers must carry exact change, and for
online trips must verify payment before trip end.
8. Toll fees are paid directly to the Rydzaa Crew (drivers) from the fare, Rydzaa does not
collect toll charges.
9. Parking charges, entry fees, and similar expenses incurred during package trips are not
included in the fare and must be paid separately by the customer.
10. In package trips, the total fare may include night halt charges, optional sightseeing
charges (per day, if selected), and usage based on time and distance. Charges are calculated
from pickup to destination and until final drop, covering the complete duration of the trip.
11. Round trips are return journeys from pickup to a destination and back to the pickup
location or any other designated drop location, and must be completed within the same day.
Round trips cannot extend beyond one day. Any additional time or distance beyond the permitted
duration may be treated as an extended service and may incur extra charges as applicable.
12. After the driver arrives at the pickup location, a free waiting time may apply. The
customer is expected to be ready within this time. Otherwise, additional waiting charges will
apply.
13. Helmets (for bikes) and seatbelts (for cabs) are mandatory. Failure to comply may result in
ride termination.
14. The number of passengers must not exceed the legally permitted seating capacity: 1 for bike
rides, 3 for auto-rickshaws, and 4–6 for cars as applicable.
15. Eating, drinking, smoking, littering, or wilful damage inside the vehicle may incur cleaning
or repair charges.
16. Customers must not abuse, harass, threaten, or coerce drivers to break traffic laws.
Violations may lead to ban or legal action.
17. The Rydzaa app must remain updated with location services “On”. Fake bookings, promo
misuse, or false complaints may suspend accounts.
18. Any issues during or after a ride should be reported through the app or customer support.
Rydzaa will aim to review and resolve complaints within 24–48 hours.
19. Billing disputes must be raised within 24 hours of ride completion via Rydzaa support
channels.
20. Invoices and related records are stored in accordance with applicable tax and accounting
laws for the required statutory period and may be accessed if needed for legal or compliance
purposes.
21. Customers must not harass Rydzaa Crews (drivers) or damage property. Misconduct may lead to
permanent blacklist.
22. After the trip, the customer will have to pay either by cash or by company QR.
23. Customers must accept fare adjustments if they alter the route or add unplanned stops during
the trip.
24. Price estimates shown in the app are indicative only. The final fare may vary based on
actual distance, travel time, route conditions, and applicable dynamic pricing.
25. If a trip is terminated after it has started, the customer will be charged only for the
distance and time already travelled until the trip termination point.
26. During high demand, surge or peak pricing may apply, and the fare may increase based on
demand and availability. Customers agree to such dynamic pricing when booking a ride.
27. Customers should communicate with drivers only through the in-app channels. Contacting
drivers outside the app is not allowed.
28. Customers agree that trip details, GPS data during the ride, and in-app communication
records may be monitored for safety, service quality, and dispute resolution purposes.
29. Rydzaa provides a 24x7 SOS emergency feature during ongoing rides, which connects directly
to the police helpline 100 and notifies the user’s save emergency contacts. All SOS events are
logged and our team follows up as required. For other issues, customers and drivers may raise a
ticket through the app or contact is at hello@rydzaa.com. Our team will follow up on such complaints, ad
resolutions in compliance with Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (as amended) and the Aggregator
Guidelines, 2020. In addition, customers have the option to share their ongoing ride details
with trusted contacts directly from their app. Customer also can add emergency contact number,
in their app.
30. Rydzaa may suspend or restrict customer access for fraud, safety violations, or repeated
non-compliance.
31. Rydzaa reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to unforeseen circumstances
(e.g., weather, vehicle breakdown).
32. Customers agree to abide by all applicable local traffic and safety laws while onboard.
33. Continued use of the platform means acceptance of these terms. Any major changes will be
informed through app notifications.
34. Customers have the right to rate Rydzaa Crew and provide feedback, which may influence
future booking eligibility.
35. Customers can pay via cash, Rydzaa Crew UPI, or Rydzaa QR. Rydzaa is not responsible for
payments made directly to Rydzaa Crew outside the app.
36. A trip will be considered completed only when the rider reaches the destination entered in
the application and the Rydzaa Crew ends the trip in the app.
If accident happens → Ride is not counted as Completed Ride.
We (Rydzaa) may revise or expand this terms and conditions at any time. Crews (drivers) and Customers will be notified of material changes via the app, web and email, and continued participation signifies acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
